DataSelf ETL+ includes optimized support for both Acumatica OData version 3 and version 4.

Open Data Protocol (OData) Version 3.0 exposes the results of generic inquiries to external systems. OData Version 4.0 exposes data from Acumatica ERP by directly accessing data access classes (DACs) without configuring any generic inquiry.

Open Data Protocol (OData) Version 3.0 exposes the results of generic inquiries to external systems such as DataSelf ETL+.

Compared to OData v4, OData v3 is more work to setup and maintain.

OData v4

With OData v4 ETL+ users have access to all DAC tables and their columns, column formats, and primary keys.

The default configuration of ETL+ uses OData v4 which just requires a new Acumatica user for DataSelf with OData v4 reading rights. This approach is usually faster than GIs and requires little to no DataSelf maintenance when clients upgrade their Acumatica.
