Embed DataSelf's Tableau in Salesforce

Login with an Admin user in your Salesforce site (formerly known as Salesforce.com and SFDC).

1. Go to Setup → User Interface → Tabs.

2. Click New on Web Tabs

3. Select a tab layout, Next.

4. Fill out Display Properties, we recommend setting Content Frame Height to at least 800, Next.

5. Set Field Type as Organization Fields. In the Button or Link URL box, enter the following URL from DataSelf / Tableau:

   1. Click the Share icon on the desired DataSelf dashboard or report.

   2. Click Copy Link.

   3. Paste the URL in the SFDC box mentioned above.

   4. IMPORTANT: if the DataSelf URL doesn’t have &:embed=yes in it, append &:embed=yes at the end of the URL.

   5. Click Next.

6. Select which Custom Apps to include the new tab. Click Save.
