Source Systems Defined
A data source such as a ERP, CRM system or other business system. List of Source Systems supported by DataSelf. Source system, Source Type and data store are related concepts. Often used interchangeably with data source. The system in source system refers to the database centric business software/business application that maintains the data in the data source / source database.
Source Systems examples: Acumatica, Sage 100, Salesforce.com, Hubspot.
Source Type examples: ODBC, native connections for source systems above. Connections to data bases/data stores such as MS SQL Server, Oracle RDBMS, OData for Acumatica, CSV and text files, Excel, Google sheets.
