Acumatica v2020 R1 or Older (OData v3)

For DataSelf integration with your Acumatica (OData extraction and dashboard embedding), please provide DataSelf with an Acumatica user with the following roles:

• Administrator
• BI
• Customizer
• DashboardDesigner
• ReportDesigner
• Wiki Admin
• Wiki Author

Be sure to set up the password to never expire. 

You might add user roles to restrict the data access. For instance, adding a user role to only one of your branches will prevent DataSelf access to branches' data. 

Acumatica v2020 R2 or Newer (OData v4)

Minimum: Provide us with an Acumatica "Anonymous" user credential, plus add "OData v4" role.

Recommended: add the roles described in the section above for OData v3.

How to Create an Acumatica User 

Important: Only people properly trained in Acumatica should make changes to its settings. Please consult your Acumatica VAR for assistance. 

How to set up the DataSelf user in Acumatica:

• Log to Acumatica selecting the correct tenant
• Search for "users" in the Acumatica search box
• Select Users (under Menu Items → User Security → User Management)
• Click the '+' icon
  • Enter a login (ex.: DataSelf)
  • Be sure to check the box for "Password Never Expires"
  • Enter a DataSelf email address (recommended: support @ dataself.com)
  • On the Roles tab, select the following roles:
    • Administrator
    • BI
    • Customizer
    • DashboardDesigner
    • ReportDesigner
    • Wiki Admin
    • Wiki Author
  • Click the Save icon
• Provide the credentials to DataSelf (888-910-9802 x2, or support @ dataself.com).
