ETL+ Deployment Flow

ETL Plus Software Installer

  1. Run the DataSelf ETL+ installer.

  2. Select the Installation Folder.

  3. IPv4: Accept or change your public fixed IPv4 address (for secured connection to DataSelf cloud).

  4. EULA: Read and Accept/Deny the DataSelf End User License Agreement.

  5. Credentials: Enter the credentials found in your DataSelf order confirmation email, or your existing DataSelf ETL+ credentials. Email support@dataself.com to reset your password.

  6. Source System connection:

    • Fill out the connection parameters and click Connect.

    • Or click Skip if you are only going to use this ETL+ installation for metadata maintenance (no live connection to your source systems). Skip will go straight to the ETL main maintenance page.

  7. Automatic Data Refresh: Adjust the parameters if needed and click:

    • Save and Finish to complete the deployment process and let the system refresh overnight.

    • Or Save to proceed to the next step.

    • Or Skip the creation of the auto data refresh schedule and go to the ETL maintenance page.

  8. Optional: On-Demand Data Refresh: Click Run Now to refresh your data to the cloud. This process might take minutes to hours depending on your data volume, extraction speed and internet speed.
