zData Warehouse

User guide page for the special use zData Warehouse and zData Warehouse (Reimport) source and target objects. zData Warehouse is a unique data source in the Source Objects panel administered by ETL+ for two primary purposes. First to lookup and retrieve data in static reference tables. Second in order to allow re-importing data from existing target tables in the data warehouse for further transformations.

zData Warehouse and zData Warehouse (Reimports)

zData Warehouse and zData Warehouse (Reimports) facilitate access to tables in the data warehouse. SQL in the https://dataself.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DS/pages/1928527873 can extract data from zData Warehouse to either modify or combine existing data warehouse tables to create new target tables in zData Warehouse (Reimports)
For tutorials see https://dataself.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DS/pages/1697382543, https://dataself.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DS/pages/1772552197 (Training)

The Properties page is not active for the zData Warehouse Source Object because zData Warehouse is a special data source controlled by ETL+. For more see zData Warehouse Properties below.

zData Warehouse Properties

  • By default, do NOT change the data warehouse properties. Contact DataSelf if you need to change them and are unsure how to do it.

  • The properties for zData Warehouse are available via Settings > Data Warehouse.

Re-Import & zData Warehouse (Reimports)

Reimporting takes data already in the data warehouse and performs additional data manipulation on it.

For ETL+ reimporting refers to the process of extracting data from a data warehouse table (zData Warehouse) after it has already been extracted, transformed, and loading/importing that data back into the warehouse table (zData Warehouse (Reimport) )
